In dieses Verzeichnis werden ἅπαξ λεγόμενα, selten
belegte Wörter, Neubildungen sowie nachklassische Junkturen aufgenommen. Nach
der Übersetzung, eines Kontextes und der entsprechenden Stellenangabe aus den
AmEx - mit Relationes bzw. Observationes bzw. Classes, Seitenzahlen und (nachträglich eingefügter) Zeilenzählung der Lemgoer Ausgabe - sowie aus EpRud (= lateinischer Brief Kaempfers an Olof Rudbeck
1683) folgen Angaben zu Belegstellen aus
verschiedenen Lexika. Die Umschreibung
"Klass./mlat./nlat. nicht belegt" ist
dabei jedoch recht subjektiv: Dadurch soll die aktuelle Lage in der
Lexikographie beschrieben werden; ein Wort kann durchaus schon in früherer Zeit
geläufig gewesen sein, ohne dass ein Zitat in den Lexika zu finden ist. Gerade
in der neulateinischen Literatur sind einerseits ungewöhnlich viele Texte noch
nicht erschlossen, so dass etliche Belegstellen fehlen. Andererseits bietet die
Neulateinische Wortliste (NLW) von Johann
Ramminger im Internet das bislang zuverlässigste lexikographische
Hilfsmittel für das Neulateinische, da sie ständig durch neue Texte und Wörter
aktualisiert wird.
Als letztes folgen Angaben zur Wortbildung oder zur Etymologie und
